Chicken Makhani

Chicken and mutton handi are very popular. Now make handi with beef, the recipe is shared by Chef Rida Aftab. Easy to make and delicious to eat.

Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken: 1/2 kg (cut in cubes)

  • Salt: 1 tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp

  • Ginger/Garlic Paste: 1 tsp each

  • Fresh Cream: 1/2 cup

  • Almond Paste: 2 tbsp

  • Coconut Powder: 2 tbsp

  • All Spice Powder: 1 tbsp

  • Tomato Paste: 1 tomato

  • Butter or Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Curd: 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  • Heat butter or oil.

  • Add tomato paste and ginger garlic paste.

  • Add chicken cubes.

  • Add seasoning items i.e. salt and red chilli powder.

  • Cover pan and cook for 10 minutes.

  • Open lid, add curd, fresh cream, almond paste, coconut powder and all spices.

  • Steam cook (dam) for 10 minutes.

  • Delicious chicken makhani is ready to serve.

  • Enjoy with hot naan.
